SOLAS VGM is Gazzotti's innovative and imperative service offered to our customers for weighing loads, vehicles and containers.
The new scale, accessible in the large yard at our site, is managed by personnel who are authorised and qualified in the management of weighing operations and the completion of certified SOLAS VGM procedures.
The SOLAS VGM service completes the well-developed logistics and container shipping operations to offer an even more complete service, dedicated to customers and shippers who can trust in Gazzotti’s professionalism and reliability.
The new DOUBLE-LANE WEIGHBRIDGE installed by ABC BILANCE at the Gazzotti headquarters in Sassuolo guarantees maximum efficiency and compliance with weighing in accordance with the SOLAS (Safety Of Life At Sea) regulations that came into force on 1st July 2016 and regarding the transport of loads.
This significant regulation to be respected by shippers concerns the attentive verification of the weight of containers (Verified Gross Mass) and involves the obligation to report the data.
